Wollert is another suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It sits 26 km north of the central business district of Melbourne. It is located within Whittlesea City’s local government area.

According to the 2021 census, Wollert has a population of 24,407.
Wollert is a Woiwurrung word that means "where possums abound". The name came from the land parish in which the suburb is located. From 1836 to the 1850s, Wollert’s main activity was sheep raising.
In the 1850s, Thomas Wilson built the Summerhill farm on Summerhill Road. He ran a pig, dairy, and sheep farm. In 1866, he sold the property. The Summerhill farm was considered one of the best farming properties in Victoria, Australia during that time.
In, 1852The first school in Wollert was established. In September 1876, Wollert’s first Post Office opened. It was closed in 1895 but reopened in 1902.
